Nik Com d.o.o. is the designer of the main design for Podgorica’s wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The main design consists of 14 books. The technical documentation (main design) is part of a large project that aims to design, purchase, and build a wastewater treatment plant in the city of Podgorica.
Wastewater collected and evacuated from the city of Podgorica will be treated at this wastewater treatment plant, which will be built in the areas of Dajbaba and Botun. The site is located between the Aluminum Plant and the Morača River, with a total area of 12.70 ha.
The sewage treatment system of Podgorica consists of the following facilities:
Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP);
Sewage sludge treatment plant;
Plant for incineration of sewage sludge;
Other facilities.
The plant will have a treatment capacity of approximately 230,000 ES (forecasts for 2045). The applied wastewater treatment technology is the process of activated sludge treatment with primary sedimentation and tertiary treatment for nitrogen and phosphorus removal, as well as final disinfection.
