The technical acceptance of works on the construction of the wastewater treatment plant in Kotor and Tivat was carried out by the experts of our company.
The wastewater treatment plant was built jointly for the cities of Kotor and Tivat.
The construction of the plant is planned in two phases. The first phase of the central treatment plant is scheduled to be operational by 2025, and the second by 2040. The task of this project is a central waste water treatment plant for the first phase, with the fact that also in this phase a conceptual solution for placing the facilities of the second phase at the existing location is foreseen.
WWTP capacity for phase 1 is: 34,500 ES (winter period) and 72,500 ES (summer period).
The wastewater treatment line for the first phase of the project consists of the following functional units:
– entrance shaft / bypass
– preliminary (mechanical) treatment
– building with grids
– aerated sand trap and mast trap
– pumping station and inlet flow meter
– secondary (biological) treatment
– SBR tanks
– building of blowers and substations
– pumping station for excess sludge for each SBR pool
– output measuring shaft
– collection and treatment of unpleasant odors.
The sludge treatment line consists of the following functional units:
– excess sludge tank
– aerobic sludge stabilization tank
– sludge dehydration
– stabilization of sludge
– technical water pumping station.
